Miami University has four summer sessions, and a great variety of courses available on all three campuses and at the VOA Learning Center. Summer is a great opportunity to pick up one or two courses to get ahead on your degree requirements, and enjoy the benefits of more personal attention in smaller classes. The summer session dates are:

Thematic Sequences
If you are a Miami student and need to complete at least one Thematic Sequence outside your department of major to earn your bachelor's degree, summer offers you a great opportunity to get started - or get ahead! Attending another institution and home for the summer – and want to get ahead?
If you are attending another college or university and are looking for an opportunity to pick up some credits during the summer months, you can register as a transient student. Check with your home institution to make sure that the courses you take will transfer to meet your degree requirements. A quick visit to www.transfer.org can help, but best to check with your academic advisor before registering. More information for transient students is available here.
