Academic Advising and Learning Assistance
Academic Advisors in Student Services are available to help students with:
- Choosing a major
- Changing a major
- Selecting courses (new, re-enrolling, undeclared, probation, and Associate of Arts students)
- Understanding the Miami Plan or other parts of the Bulletin
- Graduation requirement checks (Associate of Arts students)
- Suspension, Dismissal, petitions
- Students transferring to other schools Appointments are recommended , but advisors will try to accommodate walk-in students. Please bring your Degree Audit Report (DAR) and Bulletin with you for every appointment! How to print a DARS.
Students who have pre-majors or declared majors work with faculty advisors.
