Coaching Staff
Head Coach BJ Joyce
BJ is in his first year as Head Coach of the Lady ThunderHawks. Before joining the MUM coaching staff, Joyce was the varsity coach at Wilmington High School for 2 seasons and the JV Boys coach at Amherst (N.Y) High School. BJ coaches club volleyball for Dayton Juniors VBC (15s) and coached for Niagara Frontier VBC (15s & 16s) which is the largest club in Western New York. His teams have won various tournaments including the 2010 Dig or Die Tournament.
As a player, BJ played 4 years at Pembroke (N.Y.) High School and 3 years at Genesee Community College with 2 seasons as captain. In his final season, the Cougars of G.C.C. were invited to the NIRSA Club Championships and left as the #9 ranked team in the country beating such teams as George Washington University and Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
BJ enjoys playing Hockey, Poker, and Golf. He moved from Clarence, N.Y. to Beavercreek in February 2009 and he lives there with his wife Jessi.
