Coaching Staff

Rick Burns is in his third season as coach of the Lady ThunderHawks. Rick was the Northridge High School girl’s varsity coach from 1987-2000. He then served as varsity assistant for Monroe High School from 2001-2005 before stepping down to return and coach the Northridge girls.

Prior to focusing on girls basketball, Rick coached both baseball and football at Middletown and Northridge high schools.

In Coach Burn's first season for the ThunderHawks, his team was able to capture the State Championship and in his second year the Lady ThunderHawks finished the season with a record of 15-12.

Rick resides in Middletown with his wife, Su and their two sons, Brett and Matt.
