Mum Women season
Come to an end

The MUM Women saw their chance for a repeat championship fall to OU-Zanesville 57-58 in the semi-finals played at OU-Chillicothe. The lady ThunderHawks started the game with some uncharacteristic cold shooting to fall behind 13-31 at the halftime break. A couple of sloppy plays saw the ladies fall behind 22 early in the second half, but it was all MUM from then on, as they mounted a ferocious comeback. They cut the lead to 4 a couple times with possession but failed to convert and were fourced to foul, keeping the final margin at 4.
Brooke Keene and Shandar Musselman scored double/doubles again to lead the ladies along with Marianne Burguess's scoring and floor leadership. Keene had 21 points, 3 assists and 4 steals. Musselman also added 3 assists and 4 steals. Shelby Pettus added 4 points along with some great defense and floor leadership. Megan Keener hit another 3 pointer and added 3 steals. Jazmine Lakes completed the scoring with 2 points in limited playing time with an injured knee. Megan Hendrickson, Courtney McCloud and Shenda Amos, although not scoring, provided some great defense on Zanesville's strong inside game, forcing them to do most of their scoring from the outside. The loss completes the MUM Women's season, ending with 16-12 record.
