Lady ThunderHawks Dominate this past week!
Miami University Middletown Women’s Basketball Team completed their week, after defeating MU Hamilton on Wed. by a score of 61-60, OSU Mansfield on Sat. by a score of 89-51 and Southern State 82-33 at the C Eugene Bennett Center Sunday afternoon.
Miami had five players score in double figures; Chelsea Paddy, Brianne Thornton, Cameron Vaughn, and Antoinette Tory each had 12, with Tiffany Kossler tossing in 10. Amber Manson scored 9, Megan Costa 7 and Ashley Heard 6. Heard led all rebounders with 11. Thornton added 9 steals and eight assists to her totals. Miami improved to 14-6 overall and 9-1 in the ORCC. Miami led 49-11 at the half.
The Lady Thunderhawks conclude the regular season portion of their schedule next Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 pm, with a ORCC showdown at Lancaster as the two ORCC Divisional leaders square off.
