Miami-Middletown athletes were recognized for their academic and athletic achievements at the Spring Sports Banquet on Thursday, May 14, 2009.

were recognized as the C. Eugene Bennett Scholar Athletes of the Year for 2009.
The 2008-2009 Athletic Season came to an end with the Spring Sports and Athletic Ceremony on Thurs., May 14, 2009.
More than 125 attendees enjoyed a picnic style dinner and the presentation of all the sports teams.
The following individuals were recognized for their scholastic excellence in their sport.
LtoR - Chelsea Brown, Tyler Kilburn, Randi Bargo, Chelsea Collins, Ryan Gaston, Phillip Dickerson
Also honored were the 2nd semester Academic All Conference players.

Dana Hamblin was honored with the Lynn Darbyshire “Warrior” Award as a volleyball and basketball player.
The C. Eugene Bennett Scholar Award winners were Ryan Gaston (tennis) and Chelsea Collins (softball).
