THE THUNDERHAWKS START HOME SEASON WITH A WIN!

After going undefeated in conference play and bringing home their second straight ORCC Title, the ThunderHawks stay on top and bring home an ORC State Title as they defeated defending champion University of Cincinnati Clermont.

The ThunderHawks look poised in the final round of the ORC tournament handily defeating Ohio University Eastern Saturday 72-51. The next day would be a huge challenge for the ThunderHawks. 

Friday the 13th is normally a day people consider unlucky, but the ThunderHawks did not let it affect them against NAIA Division II Wilberforce University. Despite being oversized the ThunderHawks never let it get them down as the game played tight the whole way through with excellent spurts from both teams, but the ThunderHawks were able to lead the entire game finishing up with a 85-82 victory to move to 2-1 on the season.

The ThunderHawks were lead by the newcomer Nate Harney with a game high 20 points netting 10-13 from the charity stripe followed by fellow newcomers Johntay Farmer and Alex Arthur both with 12 points. Second year player Dexter Robinson rounded out the balance scoring with 11 points respectively.

The ThunderHawks are back in action Wed., Nov. 18, 2009 at Sinclair College after the women's game. Tip-off is at 7:30 pm. Support your team by showing up at the game Wednesday in your favorite ThunderHawk apparel!
