Thunderhawks men clinch ORCC league title

Men & Women win MUM-OX-MUH traveling trophy
The folks at Miami Univeristy Hamilton can fix a mean chili, and they can sure tug a rope, but the hosts at Miami University Middletown were the ones who came away with the hardware after Wednesday's games at the C. Eugene Bennett Center.
In a festive atmosphere, representatives from MU Hamilton won the MUM-OX-MUH Chili Cook-Off but the host Thunderhawks claimed a pair of victories on the court.
First, the MUM women reclaimed the MUM-OX-MUH trophy with a solid 61-48 win in the opener.
Then an 86-73 win by the MUM men over the upset-minded Harriers not only enabled them to take home their version of the traveling MUM-OX-MUH trophy, it clinched the Ohio Regional Campus Conference title. It's the first league title for third-year MUM coach Bob Nocton and his staff, and the school's 17th ORCC League Title.
