Room Scheduling Policy
- All classroom requests and classroom availability checks are to be submitted via the Astra Schedule web site at (URL to be determined).
- Please be sure that your request is as detailed as possible. Event notifications are circulated to Physical Facilities, Security, the Information Desk, and A/V, so be sure to include any information pertinent to those departments.
- Please avoid making room requests or changes less than 24 hours before your event. If doing so you are required to notify Physical Facilities, Security, the Information Desk, and A/V of your event or any changes individually as there will not be enough time to circulate the FUF to them before the event occurs.
- Submit requests for classroom space ONLY via the Astra Schedule web site. Classroom requests and availability checks made by phone or email will only be accepted when the Astra Schedule web site is unavailable.
- Requests for conference room use should be made to the appropriate office, e.g. Student Affairs Conference Room 135 Johnston should be requested through Student Affairs.
- All non-classroom space requests e.g. the Campus Community Center (JHN 136, 137, 142, Hawk Haven), the Johnston Balcony Lounge, Bennett Recreation Center, Verity Lodge, and outdoor spaces such as patios areas and the central quad need to be directed to Pat Hunter in Physical Facilities (7-3202).
