XI. Use of Public and Private Areas of Buildings and Grounds

  1. Faculty Office Assignment
  2. Offices will be assigned at Miami University Middletown by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs on the basis of seniority as a Middletown Campus faculty member.

    Faculty who retire and continue on a half-time basis should expect office reassignment. When possible a faculty member emeritus (on full retirement) will be accorded office and secretarial privileges.

  4. Keys
  5. Information regarding issuance of keys (office, desk and file cabinet) may be obtained from the Office of Business Services. The signature of the recipient is required when keys are issued. Please allow two weeks to obtain door keys. Desk and file cabinet keys are also available.

  6. Motor Vehicle Regulations
  7. Staff parking areas on the Middletown Campus and at Oxford and Hamilton Campuses are open only to those cars with a proper permit. A Middletown Campus parking permit may be obtained by registering your car at the Cashiers located in Johnston Hall.All vehicles must be registered.

  8. Tennis Courts
  9. Three courts are located on the southwest area of the grounds. They may be used on a priority basis.

  10. University Sponsored Trips
  11. Any faculty member sponsoring University trips off campus involving students must leave an itinerary of travel with a telephone number and address where the party can be reached with the Office of the Dean.
