Artist Suzanne Lambert to Visit Campus

Cincinnati artist Suzanne Lambert will be giving a presentation on collage art at Miami Middletown on Tuesday, April 8 at 10 a.m. in Johnston Hall Room 25. This presentation is free and open to the public. A show of Lambert's work will be presented at the Gardner-Harvey Library beginning on April 8 and running until May 21.

"My intention with my work is to visually demonstrate, through use of color, tone, and composition, an underlying movement which is within and beneath all of life," says Lambert. "This controlled chaos, specific and deliberately pattered, yet spontaneously free and unpredictable, is expressed."

Lambert is a working artist, exhibiting locally, regionally, and nationally in both solo and group exhibitions and installations. Her work is collected privately and corporately. Lambert also does work in the field of interior design and art consulting in the motion picture industry.

Lambert is an abstract painter and sculptor, working in mixed media and collage. She is a self taught artist, educated in psychology and trained in classical ballet.

Her visit is being sponsored and supported by the Miami Middletown Art Club.
