Gale Virtual Reference Library : Collection of over 100 reference e-books on many subjects which can be accessed individually or searched together as a single source.

CQ Researcher Online : Provides original, comprehensive reporting and analysis on issues in the news. Each issue reports in-depth on a single theme in the areas of political and social issues, health, international affairs, education, the environment, technology and the U.S. economy. Reports include a background and chronology; an assessment of the current situation; tables and maps; pro/con statements from representatives of opposing positions; and bibliographies of key sources.

Oxford Reference Online : This is a collection of over 120 complete reference titles, all published by Oxford University Press. Many of them are encyclopedic dictionaries in specific subjects or Oxford companions. (For a full list of titles, visit the complete title list.) Together these books cover a wide range of specialized subject areas. The entire collection may be searched at once, or individual subjects or titles searched separately.

SIRS Researcher : This allows you to browse by subject and search by keyword among preselected articles from a variety of sources. It includes several databases: SIRS Researcher (full-text articles from 1,600 publications), SIRS Government Reporter (U.S. government documents), SIRS Renaissance (articles, often with images, about the arts and the humanities), and SKS Web Select (selected web sites for general reference).

World Book Online Reference Center : Articles from the World Book Encyclopedia, an atlas and a dictionary, articles from earlier encyclopedia editions, magazine articles from EBSCO, animations, videos, sound clips, and Web links.
