Financial Aid

Financing Options

Dollar signs cut out from newspaper.Although we are committed to helping all students meet college costs, the responsibility of meeting this financial obligation ultimately rests with the student and his/her family.

If your family does not demonstrate enough financial need to qualify for a full aid package, you may still need some assistance to cover college costs. To find payment options, go to Miami Oxford's financial aid website, click the type of student that best describes you from the links on the left, and choose from the menu that appears.

(Note: Link will open in anew browser window. Close window to return to this page.)

The Regional Office of Co-op, Internship and Placement also lists available full-time, part-time jobs, and internships.

Your Financial Aid Package

Each June, incoming first year students who have filed the FAFSA by Feb. 15 will receive a packet of information including details of their financial aid award. The award may change from year to year if your family's financial circumstances change, if costs increase, or if the availability of funds change.

Summer Aid

Financial Aid may be available for summer sessions if funds are available.

Satisfactory Progress

If you receive federal financial aid, you are expected to maintain satisfactory progress toward your degree. Read detailed information about Miami University's Satisfactory Academic Progress policy (PDF).

Enrollment

You must inform us in writing of any change in your enrollment. If you drop from full-time, your eligibility for aid may be reduced. If you need to change your enrollment, you may fill out a student information form available from the forms Web page on the Oxford Student Financial Aid website.
