  • Serves as lead academic officer; provides leadership for curriculum and instructional development including use of distance learning technologies; coordinates faculty and staff development programs, including campus-based grant programs, committees, and workshops.

  • Assists the Regional Campus Dean, as needed, in operation of campus programs, services, facilities, and resources.

  • Serves as liaison to Department Chairs and Academic Coordinators; provides oversight for annual operating budget appropriations and usage with the Senior Director of Administration; coordinates course schedule development including Extended University offerings.

  • Directs Summer Programs.

  • Serves as contact person for Liberal Education Council and the Miami Plan.

  • Serves as point of contact for faculty/students regarding grievances and concerns; serves as point of contact for part-time/overload faculty.

  • Supervises faculty secretaries; assigns faculty offices.

  • Prepares reports for the Ohio Board of Regents (OBOR), and other agencies; represents the Campus on the Greater Cincinnati Tech-Prep Consortium, the Greater Cincinnati Consortium of Colleges and Universities, and other academic organizations.

  • Represents the Regional Campus Dean as needed and handles other responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Campus Dean.
