Advocacy

This office is here to guide the student. Ultimately, all students are responsible for their own academic achievement (attendance, assignments, etc.). Self-advocacy is encouraged. Begin by identifying your special needs and discuss them with the coordinator. Consider the following:

  • attendants
  • career goals
  • study skills
  • transportation needs
  • computer-assisted learning
  • semester schedule

The coordinator will assist you in developing a schedule, contacting professors, and identifying resources.
