MUnet (Miami University Network) Account
The Miami UniqueID and MUnet password are used to sign in to the vast majority of Miami systems including email, myMiami, and BannerWeb. You can find your Miami UniqueID on the web using the Miami UniqueID Lookup or from the Electronic Directory. You can change your default MUnet password at www.miamioh.edu/password. See details below.
Courtesy Accounts are temporary user accounts that allow access to Miami network resources for non-enrolled/non-employed individuals. Courtesy accounts must be requested by a dean, department chair, director or full-time faculty member, and can be created for anyone who is not affiliated with the University but requires access to Miami systems.
Entity email accounts do not correspond directly to individuals. They are created for a group of people, such as a department.
Faculty or Staff should use this form to make the following types of requests for entity (group) email accounts:
- Create account that routes to its own mailbox (Accounts with their own mailbox will also have an associated calendar)
- Create account that routes to an existing mailbox
- Change email routing
- Delete an account
- Reset password
