Office of Community Engagement & Service (CES)
Our office’s mission is to foster mutually productive partnerships between the campus and surrounding communities that enhance the University curriculum’s emphasis on Service-Learning and community engagement, ensure the intellectual and economic health of both the campus and the surrounding communities, and generate an environment where critical thinking, creative ability, professional skills, diversity, and responsible citizenship are valued and developed.

Students Engaging Real Volunteer Efforts (SERVE)
Our purpose is identify community needs, service opportunities, and courses that would benefit from community service and/or service-learning and to support expanding and institutionalizing community service and service-learning at Miami University Middletown.

Campus Individuals Volunteering In the Community (C.I.V.I.C.)
CIVIC includes Miami University Middletown's staff, faculty, and students who organize volunteer opportunities to give back to both the campus family and community.  We have organized relief efforts for Haiti and Katrina, helped organize and support students in their endeavors to aid victims of 9/11, and organized fundraisers for individuals in need.
