Admission, Fees, and Financial Aid
Transient
You are a transient student if you are currently enrolled in another institution. Transient students may only attend Miami University Middletown for one semester at a time (and no two consecutive semesters). If you later decide to transfer to Miami, you must complete the transfer student application. To enroll as a transient student, complete the following steps:
- Complete the Transient Student Application and submit with $20 application fee to the following address:

- Transient students must provide proof of "good standing" (at least a 2.0 GPA) from their current institution. Your school may provide proof by: 1) completing the designated "Statement of Good Standing" on the application, or 2) submitting an official transcript.
- Turn in a Consortium Agreement (obtained from Office of Financial Aid at current institution) to the Office of Financial Aid at Miami University Middletown.
- Register for classes online at myMiami:
(We advise you to consult with your current college's academic advisor before you register for classes. Course descriptions can be found in the Miami Bulletin.)
- Log in using your Unique ID and password.
- Select the "BannerWeb" link (on the far right of the page).
- Select "Student Services and Financial Aid".
- Select "Registration".
- Select "Registration/Change of Schedule".
- Enter the CRN for the course or does a class search. When finished, select "Submit Change".
- CRN = Course Registration Number
- Be sure to select the correct campus when doing a class search.
- Select the "Student Detail Schedule".
- Check your schedule for accuracy and print a copy.
