Returning Former

If you have previously completed coursework at any of the three Miami campuses, you are a returning former student. If you never enrolled in classes but have applied to MUM before, visit the Office of Admission to complete a re-application. To re-enroll as a returning former student, complete the following steps:

1. Complete the Returning Student Online Application.
2. If you have taken courses at any university since you last attended Miami, have your official transcripts sent to:

• All transcripts must be submitted directly to MUM.
3. Apply for Financial Aid:
1. Request a PIN (this is your electronic signature).
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Priority deadline for filing the FAFSA: Feb. 15. The FAFSA can be completed after Feb. 15 but should be completed at least 4 weeks before the start of classes.

3. To be eligible for MUM scholarships, apply by March 1st every year.
4. You will receive email confirmation of your application within 24-48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) for the current term. For upcoming terms, the process may take more time. If you have holds on your record, you must take care of these before you register.
5. Make an appointment with an advisor by calling 513-727-3440 or register for classes at myMiami :
1. Log in using your Unique ID and password.
2. Select the "BannerWeb" link (on the far right of the page).
3. Select "Student Services and Financial Aid".
4. Select "Registration".
5. Select "Registration/Change of Schedule".
6. Enter the CRN for the course or does a class search. When finished, select "Submit Change".
• CRN = Course Registration Number
• Be sure to select the correct campus when doing a class search.
7. Select the "Student Detail Schedule".
8. Check your schedule for accuracy and print a copy.
