Accepted Student Checklist
Summer Term :
To register for summer classes you must complete any required assessment
and then call Student Services 513-727-3440 for a summer advising appointment.
Fall registration takes place for new students at a formal orientation.
If you plan to enroll for the summer term, sign up for an assessment
date prior to May 19 and also choose a fall orientation date
below.
Congratulations on choosing Miami University Middletown! Following is a checklist
of items that you need to take care of as new student. If you have any questions,
contact the Office of Admission at 513-727-3216.
- Sign up for the Compass assessment test
and an Orientation/Registration session. Use the special code printed in your
acceptance letter to sign up. This code is based on your student type (new
or transfer, etc.) and indicates which parts of the assessment you may need
to take.

- Activate your myMiami account (What's
this?) by going here
to:
- Find your UniqueID.
- Change your default password.
- Create a secret question & answer.
- Log-on to myMiami to:
- Complete the ePromise Agreement:
- Click the link to BannerWeb in the "My Favorite Links" section.
- Click the "Student Services & Financial Aid" link on the main menu.
- Click the "Registration" link.
- The ePromise Agreement appears automatically. Read the ePromise information.
If you agree to the statements, click the "I Agree" checkboxes and click
"Submit".
- Complete the Emergency Contact information (this should appear automatically).
- Complete the steps for Financial Aid.
- Clear your fees by accessing your eBill.
