You can earn, part-time, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in general management, and several Master of Education (MEd) degrees at Miami Middletown.

Master of Business Administration

General Management

Miami University offers a part-time MBA with a concentration in general management. The program is designed to give students exposure to management skills, as well as to the various functional components of business administration. Students completing the program will have acquired an understanding of advanced administrative principles, competence in a specialized area of study, advanced training in critical analysis, an appreciation of the international business environment, and strengthened communication skills.

Curriculum and Teacher Leadership

The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership prepares teachers to assume leadership responsibilities in their schools. Attention is given to the reexamination of the role of teacher. This degree assists the transition from certification to licensure in Ohio. The Curriculum and Teacher Leadership program has been designed with flexibility. Graduates may choose to remain in the classroom, acquire one of five administrative specialist licenses, or move into the doctoral program.

Educational Psychology

This program is for persons with any teaching credential who wish to specialize in issues of educational psychology related to human development and learning and/or exceptionalities. Work toward an initial license in special education can be included in the program; full licensure requires additional hours.

Elementary Education

The M.Ed. in Elementary Education is designed to continue the professional growth of current teachers in the field. Advanced preparation in foundations of education, educational psychology, curriculum development and classroom research increases the application knowledge base for certified teachers. Teachers also increase their classroom skills with selected advanced courses directly related to their teaching content areas.
